Each of my wedding packages includes a complimentary engagement session. This gives us the chance to get to know each other better before your big day and capture some colorfully authentic photos that you can use for your Save the Dates, invites, wedding website, whatever! (Keep this in mind when booking your date!
The quick answer: no. I’ve worked hard to develop my signature joyful & vibrant style and purposefully edit my images to be as true to life as possible. And sure, while I consider myself to be a Photoshop whiz, I don’t usually recommend using the photo editing software to add Uncle Harry’s head into the group shot. (Or taking him out of it!) That said, I do understand that there are some situations where it might be necessary, so I’m usually able to accommodate this (at an additional cost).
After your session, I’ll get your photos turned around as quickly as I can amidst my shooting schedule. I sort, select, and edit the very best images so that you’ve got a large selection of colorfully bright photos to choose from. Average gallery delivery times: maternity photos within 2 weeks, family & lifestyle newborn sessions within 4-6 weeks, engagement sessions within 4-6 weeks, and wedding photos within 8-10 weeks.
I don’t limit my galleries to any set number. After I sort out the ones where your eyes are closed or the angle isn’t quite right, and then remove any redundant photos and others that don’t meet my own quality standards, I’m usually left with a large selection of the very best — and you’ll get all of them. Typically my wedding galleries average around 1200 images and my family galleries include 150. You may even find a fun animated GIF in there!
Your online gallery includes full print releases, meaning you can print all of the included images using any printer of your choice. Or you can save a step and order prints directly from your digital gallery through my trusted, high-quality print partner.
My main camera hosts a dual memory card slot and images stay on those memory cards until the final gallery has been delivered to you. I also store your photos on an external hard drive. I take your photo backup very seriously and have never lost a file.
I do! I’m happy to travel up to 3 hours from Ottawa, Ohio for your wedding, engagement, or family session. I include 100 complimentary miles (round trip) and any mileage over that will be charged at 58.5 cents/mile. Travel is at my discretion so please confirm this upon booking.
