As you plan your wedding, the number one piece of advice I can give you is to find a photographer you really mesh with. While the person setting up your tables and chairs doesn’t need to know all about your love story, you’d better believe the one taking your photos needs to!
That’s why I work hard to connect with my couples from day one. Our Zoom consult gives us the chance to get to know each other and figure out if we’re a match made in photo heaven. (We’re talking 8+ hours together on the biggest day of your lives, so we want to make sure we get along ahead of time!) We’ll exchange engagement stories, chat through your wedding vision, and I’ll explain how my process can bring it all to life. You ask any questions you might have and we can narrow in on the package & investment that works best for you.

Speaking of saving the date, next we’ll get your engagement session lined up to capture some bright and vibrant images to use before the big day. I’ll send you a style guide ahead of time to give you all the tips and tricks you’ll need to feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. Then, whether we’re heading to the spot of your first date or playing fetch with your pup, I’ll help you feel your best and capture the most colorful and true-to-you images from your one-of-a-kind session. Your images will come to you via private online gallery within 4-6 weeks.

In the month leading up to your wedding day, you’ll pay the remainder of your balance and we’ll schedule another Zoom call to iron out the last details of your timeline and formal group shot list. Here’s where you give me the heads up on any family dynamics for me to keep in mind. (Like if I need to help keep Aunt Sally at bay!)

This one’s simple: enjoy the best day of your life and I will capture it. No, really… This is what you hired me for! I’ll be there on time and after making you feel like the wedding day queen you are, I’ll get busy covering all the details, sticking to the day’s schedule, and capturing every colorful moment. The day you open your ‘gallery delivery’ email might just be the next best day after your wedding! Look for this to arrive in your inbox within 8-10 weeks. Using the digital online gallery (or mobile app), you can view, share, and download to your heart’s content. I’ve even arranged easy printing with a trusted partner so you can order your high quality prints right then and there. (Or print elsewhere with the included print release on all images.)

While everything seems to be stored on the cloud these days, I want you to have a physical backup of your love-filled moments. I send a custom engraved USB drive that includes all of your engagement and wedding day photos in their high-resolution, full size format. And I wrap it up in a beautiful heirloom linen box for you to hang onto and treasure forever. Brings a whole new meaning to 'to have and to hold.'

Professional wedding photographers are highly experienced and, like me, often also trained in the art of photography. Please, believe me when I say it’s more than just owning a decent camera and snapping a few shots of you and your loved ones! It’s about making you feel confident and at your best with flattering angles and all the positive energy.
On top of capturing perfectly composed images that consider light and movement and the emotion of a moment, I give my clients a curated and intentional experience that’s effortless and full of fun. (And along with delivering a physical USB heirloom memento, I sprinkle in surprises. Because everyone loves a surprise!)
Unfortunately, no. I’ve curated my wedding photography packages to provide you with the best experience possible and to honor the time and energy we’re each devoting to the entire process. That said, there’s no requirement to have engagement photos taken, but your session is complimentary, so why not?!
I always tell people the earlier the better. That way you have the best chance to secure your date (especially if it’s going to be a summer or fall wedding). It also gives us more time to shoot your engagement session — and get all the best shots for you to use in your Save the Dates! A good rule of thumb: start looking for your wedding photographer 12-18 months in advance.
Just remember this, good things take time! Especially when I come out of your wedding with thousands of images. After uploading them all and culling the good ones from the ones where I caught you with your eyes closed or your mouth full, I carefully edit your best images so they’re the brightest, most vibrant and true-to-color reflections of your day. I will do my best to get them turned around as quickly as I can, and generally say within 4-6 weeks for engagement images and 8-10 weeks for your wedding gallery.
I don’t believe in restricting the number of delivered images to any set number. As many great shots as I have, you’re going to get them. My typical weddings average 1200 delivered images.
Once you’ve got your timeline finalized, I’ll review it with you to make sure we’ve got enough time to capture everything you want. Depending on the situation, I may recommend adding more time, at which point additional hours can be added to your package.
If time’s flying the day of and you want more of your party captured, just say the word! I’ll check in with you ahead of my scheduled departure time and if you’d like me to stay (and I’ve got the availability), I sure will. Any additional time is billed at $100/hour and must be paid within 3 days after your wedding date and prior to any sneak peek and/or gallery delivery.
